WHO WE ARE
Women of Noise (WoN) was formed in 2018 in Brisbane, Australia. Since its conception it has been recognised as an important platform for celebrating and featuring womxn (inclusive of trans-women and non-binary peoples) creatives in our community and the arts.
Our projects are continuing to evolve. This year we are excited to have launched Women of Noizzze a podcast and radio segment available on 4ZZZ Digital Sundays 6-7PM AEST) and our interview blog series, Women Write Now, which is published every month.
OUR VISION
We’re working towards a future that leaves no one behind. Our goal is to provide a platform where womxn creatives can share their stories and their art freely. Our vision is part of a worldwide movement that is already paving the way for a future of justice and celebrating music for music itself.
Apart from live concerts, events and online initiatives, Women of Noise will be a long-term project, serving as a dynamic platform and living database for individuals, groups, stories and art.
